There was a rally for Buttegieg the other day and the news article said there were nearly a hundred people there...as if that was a lot. There wasn't an exclamation point "...nearly a hundred people there!"....but it seemed implied to me, what with the effluent praise towards him in the rest of the piece.

Tell ya what Biden could do, though...announce way ahead of time that he was going to have Michelle Obama be his running mate "after he's nominated". That would thrill the Democrat base, for sure. That said, I think Biden simply doesn't have his heart in it; I think he just wants to get a huge war chest, spend as little as he can and retire on the remainder.   I doubt he was smart enough to have pilfered much cash during his political career and he's gonna try to make hay while the sun shines.

Wish I was there.
