I have seen far too many cases like this, a few in this local area. They make me literally nauseous from my anger.

I've known two guys who redid old classic cars and were in wrecks with illegals, one of them drunk but neither had insurance OR a driver's license. The drunk driving incident was after a friend bought one of those "Smokey and the Bandit" '77 Trans Am cars and did a complete frame off restoration, mostly by himself. Still, the paint job was something like a couple thousand bucks and the interior work, the seats, carpet, new gauges, windows, etc. was a few grand. He was driving it to get his inspection and tags when he was hit - he couldn't get insurance until it was registered. The illegal, a Mexican national was so drunk he fell on his face when he got out of his car and still tried to run when the cops got there. He spent the night in jail, made bail from some friends and disappeared immediately after. Everybody lost on that deal, my friend, the taxpayers giving him a couple of free meals and a bed for the night and esp. the bail bondsman who had to eat his bond.

Thanks Mike. I've not lost any family or friends due to illegals. However my insurance premium has drastically increased over the past few years due to no-fault. I have to assume no-ticket no-wreck drivers like myself are subsidizing no-license no-insurance "drivers."

To many stories like this, vote them out people.
