What I resent is them thinking that just because they can remember their lines and hit their marks they know more than anyone else about how the real world works. Face it, they work in an industry that deals with anything BUT "real". Having a talent for make-believe doesn't give them any wisdom or insight. It also irks me to hear an actor speak of "their craft" as though it was some precious gift to the world.
I also resent their virtue signalling and their smug morally superior attitude. I don't know for sure, but I'd be willing to bet a cold soda pop that NFL players commit fewer crimes than does the Hollywood set, at least "per capita". It's one scandal after another in Tinsel Town, yet they continue to preach to the rest of us? It's obvious they think living in an ivory tower gives them the right to look down their noses at those "beneath them".
I haven't been to a movie since I went to see "Titanic". My TV hasn't been turned on in over five yrs, unless it was to watch some DVD I purchased out of the Walmart bargain bin. Other than those purchases, I refuse to subsidize those who ridicule how I vote, where I live and my core values.
