The best and only solution I can see to attempted Russian hacking of voting machines (IF it's true) is to go back to paper ballots. Problem solved.

They would be better off looking in our own backyard for election shenanigans.
Google, Facebook and all these other bad actors that influence voters and suppress candidates on social media need to be investigated.

None of them ever has said a peep about America interfering in other country's elections; we've even instigated coups and installed loyal puppets. I was just a kid in some of those instances and did not like it when I was older and aware we were doing it.

That said, what they call "interference" was Russia buying some Facebook ads and it wasn't even that many or for that much. If an ad convinces you to change your mind on who to vote for, I'd say you have a lot worse issues than Russian influence.

But yes, Google, Facebook, Twitter have all tried to silence conservative voices, if not by shadow banning or outright terminating accounts, then by influencing search results.   Y'know, China pretty much does the same sort of thing.
