I could see this coming from a mile away...or at least from the time the lawsuit was announced.

The kid SHOULD have sued for a dollar in damages and the requirement that all those papers put out a full page ad ea. and every day of their publication -for a week- apologizing for their lies and to the young man and promising to do better in the future. Any website that allowed people commenting to smear the kid should also have to put a header at the top of their home page with something similar. (I.E. Facebook, Twitter, every forum and message board that had the incident as a topic) It should also stay up a week or else be fined ten million for ea. day they do not have it up.
