We do need to remember that these people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. That said, if this is true, it's a dark stain upon the Marine Corps.

And that out of the way, I want to also remind people of something that I've been savaged for before in the past, namely THE FACT that not everyone who serves in the military is a "hero". Nor is every cop - as we all should realize by now - nor every first responder, be it ambulance personnel or firemen, et.al. It's almost a "reverse stereotyping" and is nearly as bad if not worse than the other kind.

We like to accuse most of those in Washington are corrupt and while that often seems to be true, it's like the old adage "A fish rots from the head down." There have been quite a few incidents of graft and corruption here in my small town; district attorney doing drugs taken from the evidence locker, firemen stealing valuables as they entered homes to put out fires, cops offering to let young women go free on drug busts in return for sexual "favors", ambulance drivers stealing the wallets out of a dead car crash victim's wallet, etc.   I'm sure that it happens all across America.   

Folks, evil lives among us. All we can do is keeping fighting the good fight, staying true to our own values and helping to shine the harsh light of justice on these vile people when we can.   I don't think it's just an economic thing, helping America return to its glory, but MAGA means - to quote Reagan - making this country that "shining city on the hill" again, not just in our freedoms, but inhabited by good and moral people. Diversity is NOT America's strength, but rather unity.

Sorry, that was full of grammatical errors, but I pounded that out so quickly b/c I was getting emotional. Sad on one hand b/c what I said I know to be true, yet feeling uplifted in the fact that there are still a large number of GOOD and decent Americans, quite a few who frequent these blogs, who feel the same as I do. If we lose hope, we've lost the final battle and it will surely be the beginning of the end.

Thanks Mike. There is a small percentage of people who too their cue for eight years that anything goes. Always innocent until proven guilty so hopefully there is substantial proof of accusations. Any prosecution will hopefully deter others from same action.
