I sure hope she wins.   If so, it should send a message to not only the NYT and other leftist rags and websites (and a number of extreme right wing ones, too) that while we all have free speech under the 1st Amendment, there are restrictions upon it, esp. when it's libelous.

No, it wasn't an "honest mistake"; it was intentionally defamatory.
