I watched a few minutes of the video, but I find it hard to stomach him after his ignorant comments on the Boomer generation.   At least the sunuvabitch is wearing a shirt now.

I think the reason the youth is less accepting is the same as my own reasons, that we're tired of the radicals among the movement taking over. All the gays I know personally aren't that way, they do not define themselves as gay. I grow weary of watching some new TV show with a great premise and writing only for them to insert some gay love story into the plot w/out reason.   Of course, to any unreasonable gay person, that means I'm a homophobe. SMH No, I dislike having some hetero love story inserted into the storyline if it has nothing to do with the plot, same as I feel about gratuitous violence or excessive swearing and ESPECIALLY a political slant that adds nothing to the story.

A few yrs. back I found the TV series Roswell, a show about aliens going to school and living among the other teens in the school in that town. It was aimed at teens, but I enjoyed it for the most part. Then, this last year they did a reboot and had a gay love story between one of the alien teen characters and one of the humans. Why? I've also been watching Glitch, a show about people rising from the dead in a small Australian town and enjoy it, but they felt the need to make one of the risen a gay man. That wasn't too bad, because he was a WWI vet and part of his need to keep his sexual preference secret during that time was understandable, but still....I felt as though it was included "just because".

Hey, I liked Brokeback Mountain, thought it a poignant love story and didn't want to puke when I saw them kiss. I DO want to puke when I feel an agenda is being pushed upon me for no good reason.

Thanks Mike. The entire video makes excellent points that rights are law but activists are reluctant to lay down the banner so keep adding things to it. I think the younger generation is noting just that.

I'm a boomer but have pretty tough hide when it comes to insulting my generation. After all Pelosi, Reed, Feinstein, Periz are in the same general age bracket. We have one thing in common, we'e human. The end.

I generally don't let it get to me, but he's such an arrogant puke, it annoyed me. I said I'd never watch another one of his vids and thankfully I only gave that one enough to get the gist.

Each and every generation can have blame laid at its feet, so there's no need to pick on mine undeservedly, saying that we're responsible for all the ills and evil of the world. We're not, so suck it up, snowflakes, grow a pair and take control of your own destiny and quit whining about shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Thanks Mike. He definitely says what's on his mind. I just take it as another person's opinion.

If we all saw the world as the same, then everything would be pretty much like being assimilated by the Borg in Star Trek Next Generation. Live in a box, think in a box, don't try escape the box, stay in that box for eternity.

BTW, he has some valid points, except the one where you can't pull yourself up out of trouble boot straps etc., yes oh h3ll yes, there is so much work out there, it is for the taking. He might be a bit lazy or only have youtube skills.

Thanks Jarasan. Many success stories have come out of sheer perseverance and determination. I wonder whether he was referencing percentages of success per population being less?
