I would make an offer they can't turn down, like $1 trillion/$1000 billion they would get back all the money they have ever spent and give each Dane $12K. Just saying.

I don't have the time to do it, but I think an investment fund formed here in the US by US investors could raise several hundred billion quickly and buy it out from underneath the Feds.....Just saying.

Thanks Jarasan. Both great ideas I hope they implement. I would much rather we control it than other factions. I also feel the US could benefit the residents there.

Offer them Puerto Rico in a straight up trade. That way the Danes could have a warm place to vacation during the winter and we'd get rid of an island full of leeches. If they balked, then we could offer *some* cash to boot...or, promise them a long run of "Hamlet" on Broadway with an all-Dane cast, maybe a movie deal thrown in.
