If cities want to ignore federal law and provide a safe haven for illegals, then ALL federal funding should be cut off to them.

If I tap into my neighbor's cable on the pole, then I'm guilty of theft of services. I'm not sure why mayors and city councils that approve of sanctuary status for illegals shouldn't be arrested on something similar, perhaps even aiding and abetting. Police who do not enforce the laws are guilty of dereliction of duty; just like the military, they do not have to follow unlawful orders.
