The one above it about the reboot of Charlie's Angels made me wish I had created that meme because when I first heard Elizabeth Banks blaming men for the movie's failure, I immediately started thinking of strong female characters in action movies and had Sigourney Weaver (the Alien movies) and Linda Hamilton (The Terminator and sequels) come first to mind. I know who Gal Gadot is but haven't seen the Wonder Woman movie b/c Lynda Carter will always be Wonder Woman to me. (pity she's such a lefty)
I thought of others, too - Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road as well as in Atomic Blonde; Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider flicks; Jennifer Lawrence in the Hunger Games series; Demi Moore in G.I. Jane; Carrie Fisher in the Star Wars franchise; Uma Thurman in the Kill Bill movies; Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow and Pam Grier in a number of movies over the course of a couple of decades.
I didn't like the first Charlie's Angels movie and I didn't figure the remake would be any better. I didn't watch the TV series because I don't care to lust after unobtainable women. (Jaclyn Smith!!!)
