American Idol Show Continuation

Published:

American idol was short tonight. Diana Ross performed and Brandon was voted off.

It was strange how short the show was tonight, and it's back on tommorrow night possibly.

Elizabeth, Wed is the results night and usually is only 1/2 hour. It was longer at the beginning of the season because they were trimming down the large group of wannabees to the final 12. The show does not air on Thurs. Usually the performances are on Tues evening from 8 to 9, followed by House, and the results show is on Wed for 30 minutes from 9 to 9:30. It's been like that for years.

Guess www.votefortheworst.com is having quite an impact on Idol this year, unless there are a lot of lonely tone-deaf poodles who know how to text message, since Sanjaya is still around. He is soooo bad that the judges have given up commenting about his singing and discussing his hairstyle. He actually looked embarrassed when Brandon was voted off, although both of them deserved to go. Looks shouldn't matter in a singing competition, but they do. In fact, if Antonella could sing like Melinda, there would be no contest at all.

Have a wonderful Thursday!

I agree with JXP.
Sanjaya is the worst ever, but do not understimate the power of 13 and 14 year old girls with texting powers we will never have..

Sanjaya is better some weeks than others. I'm glad Brandon was voted off. Next should be Gina.

The other contestant with the shaved head can sing but I don't like the bald head.

Disagree about Sanjaya. He is the worst...
He should go next, then Chris, Blake, Hayley, and Phil, but not necessarily in that order.
I would like to see Gina stick around for a while to do some more rock numbers. ..

I have been saying for weeks that it is Melinda's to lose.
She will win it all.

Melinda Doolittle is definitely one of the better singers
