A little ranting...

I don't want to hear about all of the "successes" we're having in Iraq - especially from Dick 'The Insurgency is in it's Last Throes' Cheney. IfI had a buck for every time this guy lied through his teeth, I could have bought the entire Middle East and still have enough left over for a generous tip.

Note to Dick: Shut Up!

I don't want to hear Laura Bush's opinion on anything, no less how the media is discouraging optimism about our imminent victory in Iraq by playing up that 'one bombing per day'. Jesus, Mary and Joseph - if this woman ever runs out of the pharmaceuticals that keep her in her present zombie-like state of denial, that's going to make for some great viewing. Until then, Shut up.

Good point, Emily. This talk of success in Iraq is absurd. This war is the single biggest blunder our country has ever made. The insurgency is live and well and has not abated. We removed a dictator and replaced it with an inept government who can't even agree on what day it is. The infrastructure of the country has been torn apart. The people live in constant fear of death from their own countrymen. Where is the success?

I don't think I've ever listened to Laura, but there IS a bombing every day in Iraq and the media have a right to report it because it is news. I think the insurgents PLAN a major bombing every day because they know it will get media attention for their cause.

and Cheney....I wouldn't trust him with my car keys.
