I saw that too. I don't care how mentally ill he was either. He was well aware of what he was doing.
He is so lucky I wasn't there. He'd be begging me to put him out of his misery. It fumes me to just think about it.

The one thing I like about the new technology is that false eyewitness identities can be disputed by DNA. However, I read recently that DNA testing is not as common as TV shows like CSI lead us to believe. I've been called a "Liberal" by many, but the reason I was very against the death penalty in the past is because of prejudice and racial profiling. For example, it's a fact that a White person will often, without even realizing it, point his finger at a Black person and say "that's the man." If a crime is committed by a short Asian man, then another short Asian man might be arrested. But if a crime lab can find undisputed evidence that this monster committed these heinous acts of violence, I would show the lousy coward little mercy.

wow, I didn't hear about either stories, but reading your blog brought me to tears. I can't believe someone can be so cruel and insensitive.

I liked the outrage that her fellow New Yorkers expressed. You can bet your bottom dollar that this guy will be caught, convicted and punished properly in prison. The boys in the Big House don't like that kind of behavior. He won't have time to drop the soap.

pretty sad when people can't even go outside.especially elderly people.my grandmother was a very huge stickler when it came to proper ways to make sure all her doors were locked.she even had a stick in between her sliding doors so even if it was unlocked it still wouldn't slide open.she kept warning her neighbor to be more alert and lock all her does even in the afternoon.well me and my grandmother walked to the corner store one summer day to do some shopping and when we come back the law was swarming around my grandmother neighbor apartment.a man had walked in her unlocked door and raped her.they caught him right after it happened.i went up to the police car door and screamed at this guy and the cops held me back and told me to mind my own business.it upset me and especially my grandmother who was already a very nervous person to begin with.i had thought before then that my grandmother was a little obsessed with locking things but that day i cried and hugged her and admitted that i was so glad she kept things locked like a fortress.it might've added years to her life now that i think about it.she passed on a couple years ago but i think about her everytime i see one of these stories.

I was outraged when a friend of mine was telling me the story, he will get whats coming to him....I dont want to watch the video because I have a SOFT hearted when it comes to the Elderly
