When words are uttered, I first look at the source.

Sometimes I think words can leave deeper scars than physical violence. In fact, I know that's true. I lived through both, but fractures and burns heal, yet I still hear my parents talking about killing us in our sleep when we were children. I'm 56 and I still can't sleep.
