Where did my mind go?

Maybe it's stress and worry, but lately I've been doing some really "blonde" things. Today I got home and placed my groceries in the freezer. Yes, all of them, including the cottage cheese.  I apparently then put 1/2 gallon of milk in the cabinet with the canned goods.

Well I know I have to throw away the milk, but what about the cottage cheese?  Will it be okay to eat when it defrosts?  I bought Breakstone's Cottage Doubles which is a serving of cottage cheese and a side of fruit topping you mix before eating.  One of them makes a good, quick breakfast with 11 grams of protein and, obviously, I need all the brain food I can get.

I wish someone would invent a "stupid alarm" a person could wear inconspicuously. This device would go off like a smoke detector whenever a totally stupid act was about to take place.

Crazy

Thanks, JAP69. I went to the site and now I need to figure out if this is creamed cottage cheese or not! (duh?) I know it's probably safe, since we used to get our milk delivered by the milk man when I was a child on a cold winter day and the cream would rise to the top and freeze. ("What's a milk man?" the younger members are asking.) Well, the worst that will happen is that I'll be out $3.00 (they were on sale 4/$3)

I was eating oatmeal for breakfast, but it didn't give me a lot of energy. Then I switched to eggs, but I keep reading how I'm going to drop dead from all the cholesterol. I know I can always separate the yolk, but that almost seems unnatural to me. Of course, when you think of where an egg comes from...

Have toast with peanut butter - yummy, good for you.

That's a good idea. I used to eat a lot of peanut butter until I had a problem with sugar/grease ants. They're a real nuisance here. Once I twisted the lid and those teeny pests were crawling inside of it! Anyway, I began putting my peanut butter in the fridge and it was too hard to spread. I might try to again. Still waiting for my cottage cheese to defrost.
