Guilt

  Guilt takes place in the present moment, as does everything.  It's a way of using up the present moment to be consumed with something that has already happened, over which you have no control.

I think guilt can consume a person for a long time, not just a moment. I don't look at guilt as a feeling since we learn it from example and it's something taught to us, like shame and worry.

yep - but as adults we can unlearn it.
