I usually get the old "deer in the headlight look" when I try using common sense, Noise. Just the other day, many legal experts said Representative Mike Kelly's "sure thing" emergency application was the dumbest case on an emergency basis ever filed at the Supreme Court. And though the Supreme Court didn't comment on the wording or legal standing of Kelly's application, it was rejected.

The same legal experts are saying Texas AG Paxton's application is even dumber than Kelly's. Rather than giving links to Rush, Alex and Steve's opinions like the "never had a thought of his own" blogger that banned Noise and me too, I'll just give my opinion on what I've read and heard and feel free to fact check me.

I'm pretty sure the fact that Paxton is under indictment since 2015 on securities fraud charges won't be the reason his application will be rejected, but all nine Justices are aware of it. Paxton's claim against the Wayne County election board is weird at best. It's very similar to Sully's incoherent nonsensical ramblings. However just like with Paxton's application, Sully's allies will back her up, regardless of their loss of credibility.

BTY Sully, Rudy himself said he "got celebrity treatment at the hospital" (speaking of incoherent ramblings). Not sure if Giuliani's daughter Caroline was given celebrity treatment when arrested for shoplifting. But considering it was less than a $100 worth of make-up, she was probably just given a small fine.

In any event, the Electoral College binding vote is on Monday not much time for Paxton to present whatever he has.'

I was hoping the Court of last resort would at least hear Paxton's arguments, but his application was rejected. Didn't read that much on state versus state lawsuits, but what I read the rulings mostly applied to land, river, and border disputes.

I'm not going to make a wild claim by saying a few of the Trump electors will go rogue and vote for Biden, but it's possible. Some states have provisions and a "faithless elector" may be subject to fines or may be disqualified for casting an invalid vote and be replaced by a substitute elector.

I was taught in the eight grade that when we vote for a presidential candidate, we are in fact voting for a slate of electors determined by each party within that state. Ignorance of the Constitution and the Electoral College seems to be more rampant than the virus in the U.S.

But somebody is still drinking mind altering Kool-Aid if they believe at least 37 electors chosen by the political party that got the most votes in their respective state will change their vote.

I'm still banned by several LP blogs with zero explanation. Saw on one blog "BREAKING: Wisconsin Supreme Court yada, yada, yada". Believe what you want but Wisconsin casted all 10 of their votes for Joe Biden at 1:00 PM today.

Saw a video on another blog entry showing a guy that probably lives in his parent's basement pretending to be Joseph McCarthy. I suppose if Russia and several of the other members of the former Soviet expelled "nearly 2 million Communists", they had to go somewhere and going East was the logical choice. And speaking of logic, in the U.S. when people move, do their new neighbors have the right to know their political ideology or their religions affiliation?
