The new stimulus package numbers.

Published:

Updated:

If Congress took the $900 billion from the stimulus package, and gave it to every single person in the U.S. (331 Million of us.)  Each one of us would have gotten $2,719.

Instead we will get $600. Where is the other $2,119 per person going?

The package was 5,593 pdf pages long. Did anyone actually read the entire thing?

The rest is probably going to the rich republican donors.

The dems wanted $2000 instead of $600 -but the republicans blocked it. There is alot of fluff in the bill. Money to other countries as usual.

They should have kept the money in the U.S. Guess who pays for the money going overseas. The taxpayers. They need to put us first for a change. Now we know what they think of the people here that are suffering. We need term limits. The swamp is wide, it is deep, and it doesn't care.

I agree grwurston, their priorities are not the American citizens. This is another Pelosi piece of garbage, we have to sign it to see whats in it. Surprise!
Another four years for President Trump.

45 can do a pocket Veto, that means he just sits on it until they come up with a better plan.

That's what he has done Sully. He sent it back to them. The Democrats DID NOT, I REPEAT, DID NOT, want $2000 per person. they scoffed at 1200 again. It's high time these horses asses, on both sides, start thinking of the Americans before they take our tax paying dollars and ship it overseas.

They voted to give themselves a 57,000 dollar raise, and to take away 45's power with the insurrection act.

Hold on there tigers. I read that Mitch wanted NO stimulus package for 9 months, or as he called it a “ pause.” You can go off that as to who wanted to help the working class people in both Red & Blue States.
I will not take side and say which party came “out of wash” looking cleaner, but let’s not kid ourselves here.

Take you hold on tigers comment and shove it, this is not about what Mitch mutters, this bill is a giant slap in the Face to all Americans, and that includes you, maybe you don't need the money, but many people who have been prevented from opening their business and the people they employ are hurting.
You read, wow, your a well read man, I holding up a finger, read that.

Hold on a sec there Sully. Mitch is the go to guy on lots of things, from getting people appointing To benches, so being a Republican, Mitch IS your guy. If he holds up the package, you ought to tell him to shove it.
He got Barrett on the Supreme Court much to your delight, so aim your arsenal at Mitch. I am in the trenches like the rest of the guys. By the way, this “ maybe you don’t need the money” is a joke right? Did Michael Jordan quit looking for Championship rings after winning 3?
Am playing the lottery for kicks?

Wow, okay, I see we are just spouting stuff. Did I ever tell you why I married Mr. Sully, fell in love at first sight, He looked just like Robin Yount, Shortstop for the Brewers, I myself played short, and other SS hero is Alan Trammell, A Detroit Tiger, but my man was a Hockey player, that's okay I love Hockey.
So, there you have it, fits right into the why did Nancy slap us in the face with a bad Bill.

Wow, he touts himself as being non-bias. but clearly can see a left wiggle there on all aspects. Yes, Mitch may do stupid things, but it's horses asses like Pelosi, Schumer, and Schiff and all that Pork ( Our Tax Dollars) they put in there. Democrats and Republicans, but mostly Democrats Giving OUR money to other Countries. NO, these Politicians need to know they work for US not Them. It's a Ballroom of BS with all of them.

Here are the vote totals.
The House of Representatives voted 359-53 on the bill, with two Democratic lawmakers and 50 Republicans breaking with party leadership on the proposals. The Libertarian Rep. Justin Amash also voted against the bill.
In the upper chamber, senators voted 92-6 in favor of passing the package. No Democrats broke ranks, but a handful of Republican senators opposed the bill including Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky.
Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii were the two House Democrats who voted against the package.
