No $2000 for you says McConnell

Published:

A motion was made in the Senate to pass the direct $2000 payment bill by unanimous consent, but Mitch blocked that vote and gave no indication when the full Senate would vote on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't President Trump ask for the $2000 in direct payments and doesn't Mitch belong to the same political party as President Trump?

l posted a piece earlier stating that Trump does not call the shots related to anything in the US- that goes through Mitch. Mitch " Used" Trump to advance his agenda, it's one of the reasons that Trump was reported to spend no more than 6 hours a day work, its the " Mitch can handle" the heavy lifting, his been there, knows it. Trump's executive time was spent watching TV, doing everything unrelated to the Oval office.
This President has spent more hours on the golf course and other BS, unrelated to the duties of a Commander in Chief. Now that Trump is a lame-duck President, we have seen Mitch pull the strings. First- Calling Biden, Pres Elect. Now- brushing Trump's demand for a $2,000 check.
What's Trump gonna do, go after Mitch? The guy is bullet proof and Mitch knows it, Trump moves on but Mitch stays....who's got the Power Huh?

But will Mitch claim "election fraud" if the Democrats win in Georgia? Heard lots of grumblings this morning and most were saying "I wish I hadn't voted for him". Playing the devil's advocative, I asked "why did you vote for him". The silence was golden.

Today Mitch said: the $2000 payment gives "thousands of dollars to people who don’t need the help." as if McConnell has a clue as to which Americans need help and which don't. When is the Republican President that demanded $2000 in a direct payment going to send the memo to Moscow Mitch?
