Another first for President Trump!!

Published:

Because he became the first President in 88 years to lose re-election, the House, and the Senate. History will decide it the losses are because he didn't do his job, tweeted too much, and played fast and loose with the truth or all the above.

Let's hope Trump's backers don't burn down the Capital Building.

That's what the republicans elected. A very checkered past to say the least and the morals of a hound dog. He never should have been president! Despicable!

Foreign countries have often looked to The USA as a beacon of hope & civility. Telling others how to behave, but Trump and his ilk made sure they & us never forget that the country did itself a favor by ridding itself of this menace to society. He will go down in history as being a toddler masquerading as a grown up. How did he ever become President will be the question generations from now will ask themselves, they asked it of Hoover.

All the crazy mis-information sites helped fuel this situation. In addition a man that never should have been elected president . Congress is now deciding to invoke the 25th amendment to remove him. He should be held responsible for his actions.

I see Trump is now talking about “ Peaceful transition “ of power. So it took rioters to change his mind huh, all this bragging about Take back your country & BS suddenly feels real to him, what an awful person. Then we have Ted Cruz a consummate bootlicker trying to show his his own man, standing up for Justice, this wimp hightailed it from the chamber when his own people showed up. Ducking & weaving between the aisles, our future President running away from supporters he will be relying on.

Now many House Reps, Senators, and Cabinet members are wondering how much more damage Trump will do in the next two weeks. Trump's speech writers were taking about a "peaceful transition" after Trump's allies were soundly rejected last night.

When the smoke finally cleared and after 4 people died when Trump's supporters attacked the Capital Building, the Vice President and Congress went back to work recording the Electoral College results. The first order of business was voting on the Arizona Elector objection which was defeated in both the House and Senate. At Midnight Sen Josh Hawley decided he need to waste another two hours by objecting to Pennsylvania's Electors. That objection was also soundly defeated and the recording results resumed.

About 3:30 AM, Vermont put the President elect over the necessary 270 Electoral votes and a few minutes later Virginia and Washington made Biden's vote total 296. When Wisconsin had it's turn about 3:45 AM, Texas Rep Louis Gohmert decided to show the country how incredibly stupid he is by objecting to the Wisconsin Electors without any Senate signatures.

A few minutes later what will might go down as one of the worst in U.S. History, VP Mike Pence signed the results showing Joe Biden getting 306 Electoral votes and Donald Trump getting 232. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that the same number of votes from two months ago and again when the Electoral College voted?

"Just after 1 p.m., when President Trump ended his speech to protesters in Washington by calling for them to march on Congress, hundreds of echoing calls to storm the building were made by his supporters online."

Sure looks like he was rescinding his "stand down and standby" order. In the end, who will be held responsible for the death of those four people?
