What was their point?

Published:

Let's take over 14 hours to do something that usually takes an hour! Let's object to the Arizona Electoral vote count so six out of 100 Senators can vote their objection and so seven out of 100 could vote their objections to the PA Electors.

And the height fo stupidity was when after Biden had enough Electoral votes, Rep. Louis Gohmert of Texas made several unsubstantiated claims about Wisconsin's election and said 71 House members signed on to his objection along with a Senator who now has withdrawn his objections. Law makers like Gohmert and his 70 allies are creating law, deciding important things like our Health Care.

I understand that Gohmert's views represent the people in his Congressional district so we must learn to live with his stupidity and hope he stays in the minority. Why can't the Kool-Aid drinkers understand that Nancy Pelosi's views represent the people in her Congressional district?

Don't get me started on slow law enforcement response and all the open doors in the Capital Building.

I'm just glad we don't have to see or hear from trump anymore. His constant complaining and bs was too much for anyone to take. The lunatics that caused the riot will be spending a long time locked up and that is the end of the story!
Its a new year and things will be better.

I know every State has it's looneys, including the State of Cakifornia, but l am going to pick on Texas this evening. First off, we had their AG contesting the results of the Presidential election. Paxton decided to get a number of other State AG's to join him in the lawsuit where he apparently took it upon himself to tell Georgia, Mich, Penn & other States " how to run an election" This nut seemed to have forgotten that each State is sovereign, how other States conduct their eledtionsis none of anyone's business. Just as laws in one State do not apply in another, and he wondered why the scotus refused to listen to his arguement, their take on it was " Texas was not injured by what transpired in Georgia, but Paxton gelt is was his duty, never mind that he was not a citizen of Georgia. Then we have another Texan, Gohmert, what the heck is his problem, meddling in other STates as well. Funny how their Gov had no problem installing only one dropbox in county larger than Rhode Island. Where was the outcry over that? These Texans should mind their own business

There are conflicting reports as to whether one of the capitol policeman died. Another report said he had a stroke and is on life support. They were not ready for the huge crowd and the report said many police were kicked and beaten with pipes. A really volatile situation gone bad. The FBI is trying to find tape and maybe find the people responsible for his injuries.

He died this evening, Ben. In two weeks it's going to hit the fan because there is lots of evidence showing Capital Police opening doors for the mob and directing them to where Congress Members were.

Noticed several of the Trump supporters that his daughter Ivanka called "patriots" were wearing "Camp Auschwitz" t-shirts and hoodies. Read where Trump's "Proud Boys" were seen wearing 6MWE shirts and hoodies too.
