No. The country had its differences, but in all honesty, with the election of Trump, the toadies, racists, and all the vile political mess surfaced after decades in hibernation. They had a platform in Trump to do whatever, say whatever, and attempt to get away with it. America stopped them, for now. They did for 4 years and let's be honest, even though the healing process will eventually come about, it may take longer and perhaps not in our lifetimes.
What is important is that Law and Order is coming about, and Biden may not be the real deal, but its a start down a new path. It is as l have said before : If Biden does not do well, American can do what we have always done- replace him with another. We will survive.

It is not falling apart.
It is being taken over by the Progressive Liberals.
Read the news on what has been happening since Wednesday.

It's not being " Taken Over" by liberals. What was taken over, was a Hotel businessman with no prior political experience like Arnold, thinking they knew how to run the govt, what Trump did was turn the party of Lincoln on its head by doing all kinds of things against the Constitution. Another 4 years of that nonsense and no one would have recognized this Great country.

The American voters saw the damage and decided to put an end to it. America decided it was time to stop cozying up to Dictators, stop casting our allies aside, and get back to doing the people's business. You forgetting that we have 370,000 deaths from Covid in this country alone on Trump's watch & what has he done since losing? Gone golfing. How is that " Making America Great Again?'

That's like you undergoing open-heart surgery, and in the middle of the procedure- your Doctor decides to take " a smoke break."
