"Caught up in the moment" seems to be another defense people are using.  Don't understand the logic a trial to remove someone from an office they no longer hold unless it's an attempt to prevent the person from holding a future elected office. But if those people have their charges dismissed because the were "just following orders", it could become a nightmare for the person that gave the orders.

Off topic: wonder how many MM tickets were sold near the Mar-a-lago Club and can we imagine all the speculation if the winning MM ticket was sold near there?
