What was their point?

Published:

On Thursday the House Republicans held a secret ballot to remove Liz Cheney from her leadership role but didn't hold a vote on removing Marjorie Greene from the House Committees she was on. Considering Cheney survived with a vote of 145 to 66 with a 79 vote margin, a secret ballot, and not voting on Greene, what was their point? They could have simply made a few phone calls, but there is no drama in that.

With Greene's election, it's starting to look like the conspiracy theorist have a hold and quite a bit of influience on the current Republican Party. And appantly only a few of their House members will her and other theorist accountable. It's one thing to say, the Moon landings were staged, the Earth is flat, big foot lives, and many of the other Youtube theories making the rounds, but mocking a Parkland School shooting survivor by calling them an idiot is not what normal honest people expect in a House Rep.

Greene believes with zero proof the election was stolen and Trump really won.

Stack you seem to have lost a day of news. Cheney's vote by secret ballot was on Wednesday, not Thursday. Greene's floor vote was on Thrusday, after which she was indeed stripped of her committee assignments by majority vote, including 11 from her own party. So the point was...drumroll...stripping her of her committee assignments.

The point is the outcome showed Cheney's position was secure regardless of which day they voted. It's all about the drama and something had to be done about her voting to impeach Trump. The Republican Party can't have members honestly voting their consequence or reality, can they?

What has happened to Republican Party? The Wyoming RP decided to censure Liz for casting a vote to Impeach Trump.

The Republican Party of the Nixon era had a backbone, they confronted Nixon and told him that he had crossed the line- this brand of republicans are saying : There is no line, and if there is, it doesn't matter, we with you no matter what.

Some of the people in the Republican party are ignoring reality and groups of people are foolishly following them. Other groups are using the nonsense to promote their agendas. What else can it be when the top Republican in the House calls for a vote to remove its third ranking member from House committee assignments and not voting to remove the dangerous Greene.

It's not even close to the Reagan Republican Party or the GOP that lead us after 911. The GOP is now the "my pillow guy" party.
