One does not incite a crowd to storm the Capitol resulting in 5 deaths and when it gets out of control think " they can't do anything to me, l will be gone in 2 weeks' time."

For someone calling himself a billionaire, Trump goes to the bargain basement to hire lawyers. But since he never showed his tax returns, he may be panhandling on the fifth hole at Mar-a-Lago.

Even seventh graders know the House impeached Trump for the second time before his term expired. Why are Trump's legal eagles team so confused when Article 1, Section 2 of the Constitution states "The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; and shall have the sole power of impeachment."

Can't wait to hear their First Amendment argument that any U.S. President has the right of inciting an insurrection that even threatened the lives of Republicans including his VP.

It looks like instead of presenting a defense, Trump's legal teams decided to babble about a Senator that died over 50 years ago. Said the managers did a great job, but have a counter for everything "that will be shown later".

That Kool-Aid must be really strong.

Yes it is. It's much more powerful than any stuff in existence. I mean what kind of a concoction is this that has not worn off long after it's political messiah is no longer in power? If Nixon had known the formula back then, the guy never would have been impeached.

"Bruce Castor, one of Trump’s lead attorneys, claimed that the ex-President had been reluctant to speak to the angry mob of supporters on January 6th, and did so only after Kushner assured him, “What could possibly go wrong?”

Who is this; is he really a lawyer?

And then another lawyer David Schoen stepped up to the plate and said the "House acted too swiftly and the Senate acted too slowly", therefore the trial is unconstitutional. Hey David, the Senate "acted too slowly" because Trump was still President and McConnell was running the Senate when the House Managers delivered the Articles of Impeachment.

And speaking of "weird, wild, and wacky", somebody finally explained why Schoen put a pile of papers over his head while drinking water.

We're talking about heavy duty, mind altering, industrial strength Kool-Aid.
