Bet you forgot American History shows many attacks on our Democracy and especially when a group plotted to kill the three top people in our government, the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State on April 14, 1865.

Did you forget five people died with 140 injuries while a mob yelling "hang Mike Pence" on January 6?

The two instances you mentioned in 1812, and 1865 were during wars. That usually happens during wars. You attack the other sides capital.

There were a lot more deaths, injuries, (civilians and police) and destruction during last summers riots, including destroying police stations and federal courthouses. Funny how you never heard a single democrat condemning that. (including you) I wonder why? Was it because they and cnn wanted the riots to continue so they could blame Trump to make him look bad? He even offered to send in the NG to help the local cops stop the riots, but the govs said no, we don't need them. And cnn bashed him for that too. Imagine that, criticizing someone for wanting to stop rioting in our cities. And now they blame him for the capitol... He gets screwed over no matter what he does. And now there's thousands of NG troops in DC. Ironic isn't it.

Clinton pardoned them for time served because he thought their sentences were excessive. The reason no one died is because they would make phone calls warning of their bombs so people could evacuate ahead of time. They were involved in a lot of radical stuff back then.
