Is lifting C-19 mandates "Neanderthal Thinking"?
Published:
I suppose that depends on who you ask because lots of ignorant people* can't distinguish between "thinking like one" and "are one". Heard an interview with someone in entertainment suggesting opening arenas 100% to "promote herd immunity". Didn't say if that person was from Texas or Mississippi.
The county south of where I live has the highest per capita number of C-19 deaths in Kentucky, but one would never guess that based on the number of people not wearing a mask in the grocery store. Social distancing isn't exactly a high priority either. No need to complain or even wonder why; just go somewhere else. Maybe their idea of "herd immunity" is simply thinning the herd. Let's hope nobody contacts the virus going to a funeral.
Why are Republicans placing such a high priority on Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head? Is it because they lost all sense of reality in last six months?
*people like those believing the Expos won the 1994 MLB World Series.

My take on it is “ You only live once, why risk it?”
If you going in with the idea of “ who cares, l end up in heaven” than you dumber than you realize.
But back to the topic- What l would like to know is : Had 45 told the nation “ l want everyone to wear a mask to slow the virus, would they have followed his advice?”
I mean if 45 could say “ You need to take your country back- and they listened- would they have listened when death was in the line?” Well death was on the line on Jan 6th as well, you get the picture..
It's becoming more and more obvious that many Americans live in alternate realities where if it was just "the virus is hoax" and "will miraculously go away in a month", wouldn't mean much if they wore masks and practiced social distancing if for no other reason than to pacify their neighbors. But now we're seeing people we thought were reasonable advocating taking over the government. And many of these people are Republican House Reps and Senators.
It's not about what "45" could have done because he basically did nothing except taking full credit for the first stimulus package. He didn't even have enough sense to tell the country he got vaccinated.
Makes sense when you think that most of the astronauts have not come from RED States- l wonder why that is?
Heard on the KY Republican grapevine that Mitch might not finish his term. Probably has nothing to do with his wife's (the former Transportation Secretary) little problem of using her position and agency staff to help family members who run a shipping business with ties to China.
If 45 had no base- they would be no " questioning the election outcome, no Cruz or Hawley" putting up a fight- Definitely no visit to Mar a lago to get his blessing. He would have been treated like Nixon, a Pariah on the party, but its the Base, has always been the base.
Similar to how Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland make millions.
Right now there is a very quiet investigation into Kavanaugh's 2018 background check.
