Not too surprised. Looking at the big picture naturally there will be some that don't tolerate it well. Just got my second dose last Wednesday. No problems. In fact, my flu shot last fall made my arm hurt for a week. This was easy peasy .

On a personal note, an elderly friend of my parents, a woman in her 80's in a nursing home with dementia, but physically fine. She got covid in November, and got thru it. Got her first covid shot a month later, then the second 3 weeks after that. The night of the 2nd she got a bad fever, then pneumonia. She was really sick for a couple weeks. Doing okay now.
The big question is, what happens the next time you catch a virus, 6 months, a year from now, after getting the shots. I guess we'll find out.

People have had adverse reactions from several kind of shots for decades.   I'd rather be over the hill than under the hill. Last year I lost alot of friends and relatives from covid. Our hospitals are just now partially recovering from the covid pandemic. It was horrible.
