Systems, playing strategies or primative RNGs?
Published:
Have a lap top that I haven't turned on in years and decided to see if it still functions. The battery was dead but fired right up when I plugged it into an outlet. It has a DOS based lottery program with data from every US lottery game. The owner of the site retired in 2012 so the data is no longer updated though I can still update which ever games I choose.
I used it when I lived in Ohio and played Rolling Cash Five, but Kentucky doesn't have a 5/39 game. Had a nice run by using the data to place the 39 numbers into an order playing the numbers in the lines that were consistently being drawn. Got about a 130% profit but not all that great considering the minimum jackpot is $100,000 and the strategy required playing a different set of numbers every drawing. Another problem was I played 14 number in a 3 if 4 wheel and even if I matched all five numbers, there was no guarantee of winning a jackpot.
However there are several pick-3 and pick-4 diagnostic and analytical tools along with several playing strategies so I'll probably take another look at those.
Need some input and ideas from LP members on what they feel are better ways to use historical data and create better playing strategies.

A few we had a discussion about the 023 straight combo that didn't show in over 11,000 drawing (24 years) in the Ohio Evening drawing. Not staying past results can't predict winning combos, but they can be deceptive and they are being used, it's necessary to know how the combos were found and if the method can repeat.
Money management is an important factor too and considering a straight wins pay $500 for $1, betting $350 a week trying to win $150 isn't much reward for the risk.
Read about a "get the results from 10 years ago" method that might potential if the they can limit the number of plays. I'd classify that and the "023" as spot plays which can be very profitable.
