You're right this isn't a 5 month old murder. This is being done to insure the election integrity of ALL ELECTIONS in our country for decades to come. Unless someone would prefer to live in a country where election results are predetermined before people even get to cast a ballot, or where voting is considered just a "formality" to let people THINK they have a choice, then no one should have a problem with this.
Except for the ones that actually cheated or rigged the election. Now if the ones accused are truly innocent and have nothing to hide, they will welcome this chance to vindicate themselves. But if they are guilty, they will fight this tooth and nail. We will know by their actions.
