But did anyone really take Trump's disinfectant "wonder cure" serious?

Published:

Apparently a church family in Florida did and sold their version of Lysol/Clorox calling it the "Miracle Mineral Solution". If people die or get seriously ill, the blame is not just on the snake oil salesman selling the industrial strength bleach as a cure for Covid-19, but all the fools believing them and ingesting it.

It's a claim along with the likes of neo-Nazis are "fine people" that has become a symbol for the left of Donald Trump's diabolical character -- the assertion one year ago that the then-president suggested Americans could inject bleach in their bodies to kill the COVID-19 virus.

But Trump didn't say that, as PJ Media's Matt Margolis documents, just as HE never said neo-Nazis and white supremacists are "fine people."

The bleach claim originated April 23, 2020, during the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing in a discussion about possible COVID-19 treatments, including UV light.

Trump said: "And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me."

This entry is about people believing that ingesting disinfectant could cure Covid-19 even after Trump said his words "were sarcasm". But anyways, thanks for posting one of the dumbest things and U.S. President ever said.

* Trump said: "And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute.

Perhaps Trump meant that we should be " bathing in disinfectant or using it in a form of a topical cream."
Just keep that stuff on the outside of the body.

No Stack47, The entry is: "But did anyone really take Trump's disinfectant "wonder cure" serious?". You're already stating that he already said that, which HE Didn't ! He asked " Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside inside or almost a cleaning" to his Task force. He asked a question, DID not make a statement!. But, the Media, along with the "LEFT" and all their intelligence, made it sound as if he said that, which he didn't and was proven, regardless of what you interpret as truth. And thank you for showing everyone how knifing the Left can really be. He may have said some off the :cuff: things, but if you're going to put someone down, at least do it with the truth, not half truths.

It was called trying to "look Presidential" or pretending he had a clue instead of just letting the experts do their thing. Too bad that didn't turn out to be the dumbest thing Trump ever said or did.

"And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

"So we're going to, we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we're going to the Capitol, and we're going to try and give."

"So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue."

And another thing while I'm at it, This so called "snake oil salesman" you refer to, I presume you meant President Trump. He did more for this Country than you could ever imagine, but as usual people have their "Ears" open while having their "Eyes" closed. If people did do something with the disinfectant, they did so because of the Media and the "Left" gave people their version of the truth, because of their Hatred for someone. Put the Blame where it belongs, not on half truths. His words weren't sarcasm, he asked a Question! Anyone who misinterprets a question for a statement is a "FOOL"

Wow, how quick we change tunes huh? as usual the we turn things around very quickly to make the statements look the other way. Were we talking about a statement of disinfectant, or a Walk down Pennsylvania Avenue Stack? You're showing exactly what you're made of!. You've been beaten by "Your own Words".

Right about now, you've probably got some choice words for me, so I'll just "Thank You" in advance.
Have a Great Day !

Wow, the Kool-Aid drinking MAGA hat wearing Trump worshipers are out in force.

"This so called "snake oil salesman" you refer to, I presume you meant President Trump."

Will someone please explain what the word "salesman" means. I can't make them read where it says in the very first sentence "a family in Florida sold their version of Lysol/Clorox calling it the "Miracle Mineral Solution" or click on the link, but they think I meant Trump.

Is "pity the fool" the words you're looking for?

Surprised the "Lily Doll" took time from all the post padding challenges to add nothing of value here too.

"which HE Didn't ! He (Trump) asked"

Yep Trump had to ask if people could ingest or inject "something like disinfectant". Bet you still can't figure out why 7 million more American Voters thought as President, Trump was dumber than a box of sawdust.

Wonder what Trump had to asked about immunizations for Polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella? Bet little Donnie freaked out when the Salk vaccines was replaced with the Sabin oral polio vaccine that was administered on a sugar cube.

With all due respect: When l read " He has done more for the country than you could imagine" the words " Then why was he denied a 2nd term?" Saying he was robbed won't cut it. The judicial system as a whole said he lost. What is lost in all of the confusion is the fact that Trump was not a politician to begin with. Usually, non politicians start at the State level & learn the ropes, just because you have a head or not for business, does not mean you will succeed at the highest level of government.
Let's face it: The folks in the background laid the groundwork on what needed to be done. When all the "i" were doted & the "t's" crossed, l envision the finish product brought before 45, he us explained the brought details & he signs off on it. He's first Sec of State said that 45 had a very narrow view if the world at large, so he needed to bring in piecharts etc etc to get the green light on anything abroad. With that information- it was easy for savvy voters to pull the trigger for He's opponent. All one has to do is look at Trump's initial response to Covid-19. That was his waterloo, not the economy or anything else.
Even Goliath fell.

"He has done more"

Ever since day one (his inauguration) over and over he said everything he did was bigger and better than anyone else. When the fact checkers proved him wrong, he blamed a bias media. It was all about convincing very gullible people his gross exaggerations were the truth.

Trump’s popularity became very problematic for any Republican Congressmen or Senator that saw through his BS. While it looks like Liz Chaney had a pair, her “no vote” on the stimulus package fell right into party lines. Several of the “don’t make waves” Republican Senators are not seeking reelection.

The results of the 2020 election and all the false vote stealing claims pretty much sums up exactly how Trump operates. He blamed his VP for not breaking the law, he tried to convince the Georgia Secretary of State to break the law, and convinced a group of morons to storm the Capital Building.

Yep, Trump’s ignorant responses to the Covid-19 pandemic convinced enough voters in the Republican states of Arizona and Georgia to vote against him.

Oh, and speaking of Trump talk, by claiming victory after creating non-existent contests, some of the drinkers must believe TV ratings really show the popularity of someone. At least it proves to them why the "my pillow guy" is so popular among the tin foil hat wearers.
