I love it when Senators from States that have populations of a few thousand people feel they have the right to set up laws that affect millions of people living in more populous States. The minority controlling the majority- insanity.

Mitch said about the same thing when he said his goal was to make Obama a one term president. The Kentucky legislators voted for a KY Constitutional Amendment giving them power to pick a Senator if the current Senator resigns or something happens to them. It opens the door for Mitch to retire and allows his seat to stay in Republican hands as long as they control the legislation.

Rand Paul who ran on term limits in 2010 will be running for his third six year term in 2022. The good news is KY is a great state to retire in regardless of politics.
