Deaths from covid 19 in the US was 1,381
In comparison, from 7/3 thru 7/9
Deaths from covid 19 in the US was 1,576 Up 195 from last week.
Example. Here are two headlines, both for the same place, both saying the same thing, but worded completely differently, depending on the desired public reaction.
1) State official says: Covid cases up. Twelve cases this week, up from eight cases last week.
Desired public reaction: Calm. Little or no concern.
2) Governor Makes Big Announcement: Covid cases increase 50% statewide!
Desired public reaction: Fear, alarm, panic.
Due to no mention of actual number of cases.
I was watching the news early this morning. Three different local stations. Half hour each, one after the other. ABC, NBC, FOX
All three said, Covid cases have gone way up in the last few days. But, NONE of them gave any actual numbers as far how many cases before, how many cases now, or how many new cases there are. Why wouldn't they do that? Headline #2
They will do it in your area too. Pay attention to what they do or don't say.
