* Not just him, all those dummy Representatives in Congress who signed on to not recognize Biden as President. They too should have resigned as well.

Wonder if the new Governor will pardon Cuomo just like when Ford pardoned Nixon?

You could never fill your Fathers shoes as far as Governor is concerned Cuomo. Your lies
finally caught up to you. And your Political asperations just tanked also. Karma!

farticus STFU, fvcking goomba cuomo murdered thousands of nursing home patients, he'll pay for that sooner or later. Grabbing a$$ is minor compared to murder. Don't equivocate that murderous goomba piece of sh1t to anybody.

* Hey clueless F- The Governor resigned because of mounting sexual harassment charges. What the heck is wrong with your brain? Can't you tell the difference?

* l guess not, seeing that you believe 45 won the election. You boarded the political Titanic you fool. It sank on Nov 3rd 2020 moron.

* By the way : Chuck Grassley needs to retire. Chuck said that Trump had " every right to discuss ideas and strategy with his closest advisors by trying to undermine democracy in attempting to overturn the election results in the United States." Grassley thinks Trump telling the DOJ to carry out his wish is ok.

* At 87, it's time for Grassley to leave the Senate. Comments like that are a threat to this country. He needs to ride off into the sunset.

@ noise-gate, pray tell WHAT has that got to do with the subject? Correct me if I'm wrong, but this
is about Coumo, NOT anyone else is it?

@ Maddog, nothing directly- but if the Dems have the stones to get rid of their own for misconduct , which apparently the Republicans don’t, Chuck should retire, unless you in the same camp as those who “ think the rules & common sense@ do not apply to those across the aisle.

Dems don't have the stones. He was under impeachment hearings and these charges levied against Him only added fuel to the Fire. He couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen so to speak, He was more interested in women, instead of being a Governor. His Lies Finally caught up to him. that is why he resigned, actually he had no choice. Either way, he was DONE. As far as Grassley is Concerned he is not even on my radar. But, as I reiterated it wasn't about him.

Cuomo took the easy way out. He thinks if he retires for sexual harrassement, everyone will let him slide for killing 15,000 nursing home patients by taking covid patients and sending them to the nursing homes. On top of that he told the nursing homes they were not allowed to test the covid patients for covid.

* @ Maddog, Dems do have the Stones, on occasions. First off, Andrew is a Governor, he dies not serve in Congress or the Senate, but being a Democrat, Biden said he should resign, which he ultimately did.

*Whatever wrongs he committed on a State level, he should face the consequences. Now that we discussing " stones" where were the Republicans stones when it came to impeachment of a President who's reckless behavior had the nation on the edge? Where were the multitude of voices from conservatives calling for 55 to resign?

* Back in Nixon's day, those Republicans had a pair, they stood for something.Tge current crop of Republicans serving on the hill are deadly afraid to offend Trump. Heck, 4 plus years agonthe guy was a reality star, he hijacks your party & now calls the shots? What's wrong with this picture?

* As for Grassley, he still ought to go. Had a Democrat uttered the same protection for a Democratic President who did what 45 did on Jan 6th, l would say he or she ought to resign as well. This is one America & if any President, from either party crosses the line- they have to go.

@NG. NO they don't have stones. Do you think just because biden said he should resign, even Bush Jr. should have been, but he did?
He was under impeachment proceeding LONG before biden chimed in. Either way he took the easy way out, not because this puppet said he should resign.
NO stones. wild willie was being served under the table (Monica Lewinski), instead of serving the people. Yes he was impeached only after the Republicans chimed in, not the Dems. obama should have been, but because he was black, everyone looked the other way. so, you can say they have stones all you want people know who has a backbone and who doesn't. George Jr. was probably closer to impeachment, but both sides looked the other way. Anyway we were referring to Coumo, not 43,44,45. and oh, we haven't gotten to 55 yet. C-yah on the flip side.

* @ Madddog- You covered a lot of ground there, but its partly cloudy.
First off: The Dems as a rule have held off impeachment for decades, they even sidestepped it in Reagan's days.. Iran Contra, ring a bell?

* On the other hand- The Republicans couldn't wait to get Clinton for " anything." How dare this unknown Governor from Arkansas dethrone HW Bush, after his ride to glory in the Kuwait debacle. But lo and beyond, what started off as a Land- deal ended up with what l would call a sex act in the Oval office, between adults. If anyone should have been in the middle of that, it should be Hillary, not the nation as a while.Oh Yeah, Newt was banging his mistress while married & gave a thumbs up to the Impeachment, then you had Henry hyde saying his sex acts while in his 40's was " youthful indiscretions " - that was a doozy.

* As for the Dems trying to Impeach Trump before & during his Presidency, that's a matter of opinion. Had he served as President in the time period of Nixon, he would have been gone a long time ago.
After hearing the testimony of people who worked in his administration, not being impeached would have been sinful.

* Attempting to use the office of the DOJ to carry out his actions to overturn an election IS an impeachable office. If Clinton could be tossed from office over his... Trump deserves the same treatment. No need to be coy, in pointing out my posting 55, l think faster than l write, of that's a weakness, so be it. At least l think logically & don't buy into conspiracies, a trait shared by many here. Such as " Trump returning this year to the WH as President" .. that is fantasy, anyway you look at it.

* Oh you mentioned Obama should have been impeached, really for what exactly? Perhaps you ought to review the articles of impeachment..
" remove the President for Treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." I can't think of any where Obama came close to acting upon.
However, in 45's case, they were clear. The singular act on Jan 6th was a violation of his oath of office. In short, he thought as President that he could do anything, well he found out he couldn't.

* Recall that he appointed Justices to the Supreme Court, yet in his mind, he felt that they " owed him a debt of gratitude."
Remember his words after his loss to Biden & he contending that his case would go to the scotus " if the Scotus DID the right thing"- what was he talking about, was he thinking, that they were they to do his bidding?

*So yes, Trump getting Impeached was for the " good of the country." People may disagree but the crap coming out now shows he was unfit to serve.

There you go again...

The subject of this blog is "Andrew Cuomo to resign in two weeks", and yet you completely change the topic by going on and on and on about Chuck Grassely and whether or not past presidents shoud have been impeached or not.

What in the world has any of what you just said have to do with Cuomo? Absolutely nothing!!
Stick to the subject!! Why is that such a problem for you?

As for Cuomo... He doesn't deserve two more weeks as gov. You resign you should be gone immediately. He should be tried for murder for being responsible for killing 15,000 nursing home patients, with his f'ed up covid policies.
But, having spent the first half of my life living in N.Y.state, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it. The politicians there are corrupt and won't do anything to hurt their own.

* That’s because l bring interest to a topic, your mundane responses & nonsensical points of view are front and center, and absurd too.

* Governor brought up on murder charges? Where do you come up with this stuff, what network is looking into these charges, and how is it that no one is talking about murder, except you? New Yorkers are not demanding murder chargers that l see splashed across the front page of every news outlet, and you asking me to explain what?

* Besides, you ought to look in the mirror and ask yourself why do you go off from time to time asking “ What has Biden accomplished? when l asked a simple question will you die for Trump, you evade and come up with WHBA..

* Since you incapable of thinking clearly- the thread is “ resigning.” I took it a Step further by mentioned those who should be doing the same thing, it’s my way of forcing you to break out of that funk you in, your myopic thinking needs improvement.

*Back at Chuck, he’s comment is a disgrace, instead of talking about the behavior of Trump on Jan 6th, he switched the topic to the “ Dems going after 5 From day one” .. Jordan did the same thing, when he was booted off the Commission to look into the the Insurrection- he goes on Fox and starts talking about Pelosi & why she did not react fast enough by getting the Capitol police involved. Like l said: Chuck and Jim, changing topics, same party, same BS, and guess what, you as well, your party is a chameleon.

* Do you get it now?

You don't bring interest to a thread to a thread at all NG. What makes you feel like your high and Mightier than anyone else? If someone has an opinion. I'm going to ask you again, what makes you feel superior to anyone else who has a difference of opinion?
This thread has a subject, it's not a BS session, if that's what you're looking for, start your own. Also, who gives a rats dukey about, Chuck, Jim, Jordon, Nancy, or anyone else they don't have a connection with Andrew Cuomo, or with the subject of resignation. Nobody commented about them except you. You're also referring to the Republican Party as chameleon. Wow, I would rather be labeled as a chameleon, than a Corrupt Charlatan any day. Just because you have an opinion too, doesn't make it better than others. My opinion, If you think you're that much better than others, then You have an Ego problem.

* That explains the issue l have with folk who are “ incapable of thinking clearly.” When l say l bring interest to a thread, l mean l make one think outside the box. That has nothing to do with being superior or adding BS to the topic it’s having a difference of opinion apart from the run of the mill crowd here. This is one place, the blogs where one can have a disagreement with another & you “ know” who the person is. Yet in the news section, if you add a comment, and others already have a preconceived notion of you as a person, almost anything you post us dumped upon, now that is charlatan behavior.

* Perhaps you ought to review your own advice, cause you are always the one who responds to my posts, not the other way round. I seek out no one, the same applies in the news section. In fact l stay away from those l would call “ easily upset” by opinions they do not share, but such is life.

You don't make people think outside the box NG, they have already perceived. Why do you think you have to make people think outside the Box? They already have an opinion, But as I've looked back at some of the post, it makes no matter what others think, you have a difference of opinion and you, and you attack their thought process as Mundane, nonsensical, etc, etc. You have every right to an opinion, Just like everyone else.
Yes you're right about preconceived notion, and it's fitting on both sides of the isle. I don't always respond to your post, maybe a handful of times yes, but then again I have an opinion also, so why would I review my advice when I form an opinion. I think for myself, NO one else. You need to relax and let others have their own opinion without trying to sway them about theirs. A difference of opinion is a good thing, except when someone tries to lead them away from their own.
Yup, such is life, Have a Good day!

* It pays to pay attention.
You point out l go after those by saying they have " nonsensical & mundane answers"..and you right, BUT those words are aimed at a person or two who ALWAYS starts off their posts by calling me all sorts of names & never addressing the topic at all.
You can scroll up.and see who l am talking to. Obviously, it's never at you since you don't have a potty mouth.

* As for trying to " sway a thought" that's a bit misguided. It's an opinion & folks can either agree or disagree with it. There are some here who are hell bent on getting persons booted from LP, because they don't like their comments or the way a person thinks- how did we come to this, and we wonder why some have left never to return..oh well.

Damm right Cuomo should be brought up on murder charges. You had all these covid patients in the hospitals in NYC. He ordered them out of the hospitals and into the nursing homes. And then he told the nursing homes that they were not allowed to test them for covid. So they showed up and no one knew which ones were very sick, which ones were mild cases, or which ones were asymptomatic. Result. 15,000 people lost their lives. He IS responsible.
And how the hell do you know what New Yorkers are calling for? Have you ever even been to NY? Do you have friends or family living there? I do! And believe me, they are not happy with that pos.
