Deja Vu?

Published:

It's like a flashback to 1975 when Saigon fell or to 1989 when Russia pulled out of Afghanistan. Some people are suggesting we should stay there so more American lives can be lost. Just the fact the people we were supporting did basically nothing to stop the Taliban should be enough to justify leaving.

When will they ever learn?

* The majority of these folk blaming Joe forget that 45 brokered the deal with the Taliban. I wonder how you was going to implement the exit? If this scene played out on his watch, you know he would blame the authorities there- he never excepts responsibility for anything that goes bad.

* l wonder why Trump didn’t support a project in building a wall in Afghanistan to keep the Taliban out?

They didn't forget, they just didn't want supporters using their brains. Besides they are really hoping people forget what happened on January 6.

The exit plan seemed to be based on the 300,000 man Afghan Army holding the line for more than five minutes. And it didn't help when their president head for the hills as we were leaving.

Finger are pointed at our Generals and of course the Commander-in-Chief, but at the end of the day, American troops in Afghanistan are out of harms way for the first time in almost 20 years.

We still have 2500 troops in Iraq; when will we ever learn?
