Yah know Red, We sang "Silver Wings" as the plane took off in Vietnam on my last tour of duty Headed for Oakland Calif in 1970. Me, and some good ole boys lit up that plane.

Sounds like a good time, DOG. But Country Music ain't the same anymore with the Hag and the Possum and so many others gone now.

I seen him in Great Falls, Montana in the early 70's, excellent show. He introduced Charlie Prides' wife and the crowd went crazy. You may not be aware of this but Charlie made his home in Great Falls.

Yeah, I heard Charlie say he lived up there once. I too saw the Hag up in Chicago. I think it was in the late 90's and the venue was only half full and we would up grabbing a couple empty front row seats. Good to hear from ya, Bob.

He and I were heading downtown side by side, when we glanced at each other, he smiled and waved. I noticed he was headed for the golf course, I saw his clubs in the back of his station wagon.
