We must be on the same wavelength lately, MzD, lol. I just had baked chicken quarters the other day. I put 'em in a big 1 gallon ziplock bag one at a time with some Vegeeta and shook em' up and baked at 400 degrees 'til they were browned just right (about an hour here in the mountains I think) and man were they good! I can't tell you too much about sides cuz I been on ketogenic and carnivore diets for over a year now. Cabbage is about as bad as I get. No taters, no bread, no grains, no sugar, no corn, nothing like that for me. I try to eat high fat, moderate protein and low to no carbs. But cabbage being a cruciferous vegetable is not too bad for Keto. We're making a pot roast tomorrow after we pick up some celery and onions and stuff.

Boneless beef short ribs, lol, they are expensive. Yes, I needed some baked chicken, lol.

No, Vegeeta is just an all purpose seasoning, not breading, but it's good on chicken and with other things like the cabbage. Not so good on pork chops though for some reason. There's a Jamaican guy with recipes on youtube named Big Deddy. That's where I saw it. You made me crave some more cabbage so much I made another pot of it tonight! I gotta see if I can find them boneless ribs now!
