I'll reserve judgment on whether or not this is a good idea until we hear from Joe Biden or maybe the ACLU.
If one or both of them thinks this action is a good idea then I will know that it's a bad idea and act accordingly.
Why?
Because they are always against good things and always for bad things. That's their track record. They always were, and their past behavior dictates they always will be.
