The Vice-President does have the right to overturn a Presidential election!

Published:

That's according the former president's fractured understanding of the Constitution. He said that because a bipartisan group of lawmakers are working to reform the Electoral Count Act.

According to Trump, "Actually, what they are saying, is that Mike Pence did have the right to change the outcome, and they now want to take that right away. Unfortunately, he didn't exercise that power, he could have overturned the Election!"

Interesting logic indeed considering if in fact the VP has that right why would "they" take it away from the current VP?

But we're talking about the same person saying "the January 6 rioters are being treated unfairly" and he would pardon them.

* It’s that kind of weird thinking that got Trump in trouble in the first place. He would do stuff & his party would cover fir him. You know the “ Trump is not a politician, so give him a break etc etc.” Well that’s no excuse. Try driving on the wrong side of the road in the US and when pulled over by the cops, say you just “ arrived back from the UK” where they drive in opposite lanes, see if that works.

* Gee, if the VP had that power, what do you need people for? What still amazes me is that in 4 years, this political newbie now owns a political party. A one term President who lost not only the Presidency, but the house & Senate- still calls the shots!

*As l said “ A different kind of stupidity.”

The Republican Party no longer even resembles the Reagan and Bush Republicans. And because of that the door is open to any and every fringe group calling themselves members of the "party of Lincoln". Just look at all the current butt kissers in Republican leadership positions as an example. They don't want to risk the "rath of Trump".

Mike Pense is the current pasty because he did the job the Constitution required him to do. Never expected Trump to understand it no more than I expect his pro-pregnancy supporters to understand how a woman's choice is defined.

Who is the real criminal, Eddie Tipton or former President Trump?

* Both Tipton & Trump took advantage of people. One working in the shadows, the other in broad daylight. I still think that Eddie has squirreled away a sizable amount to keep himself afloat, whereas 45 is still at it, having people send him money to do what exactly?

* Funny how the article on Trump having the backing of 50% of conservatives still puts him at the back of the bus. He cannot win with 50%, and he knows it. Everyday a new revelation comes out on the sinister operations of this guy, and it’s pointless saying “ l had no idea what my people were planning.” Didn’t he say at one time “ l am a stable genius?” Oh my..

"Unfortunately, he didn't exercise that power, he could have OVERTURNED the Election!"

Apparently, he told Pense to use an imaginary power, but after getting charged with "attempting to overthrow the United States Government Trump would deny any knowledge of saying that.

Regardless of Trump's ignorance, it sure looks like he wanted Pense to do something illegal.

* To think we have Americans walking around with silly ideas about this past election and passing it off as truth. Take Rudy, a once respectable individual who sold his soul to Trump, not only him but Powell, the 137 Republicans who signed on to not certify Biden as President, to Powell & millions of other empty suits walking around out there like zombies.

* l mean with no concrete evidence, but simply hearsay- these folks have taken Trump as his word, no second guessing whatsoever & coming back to these Republicans on the hill/ here are supposed to be the best minds or some think so, to represent their interest in the nations Capital & this is what they came up with. They call themselves “ lawmakers” more like seditionists if you ask me.

Trump is businessman and said, "I know people" and millions of people thought and still do, those people are very intelligent. I guess they missed when Trump had to pardon many of those "very intelligent people". Or that Rudy, Mike and Powell are as sharp as bowling balls.
