You bet the president can control gasoline prices. You increase the supply prices go down, you decrease the supply prices go up. Trump opened every thing up and we were totally energy independent. Not any more.

You cut oil production in the US you have to import it from OPEC. They can charge whatever they want, so now we have higher gasoline prices. He wanted them to increase production, they told him to stuff it. So then he used our emergency supply, now that's gone.
Crude is up $40 a barrel since biden got in. Gas is up 50% too. Crude oil is over $93 today, $53 on Jan 20/2020
