I smoked them dadblamed things for a few years and it was easy to quit.
Right after I started hacking up blood.

Smoked nothing but menthols back in the day. Started at 16. At 20, 2 packs a day, for 10 years. Quit at 30. Easy as hell. Bought a carton, said when it's gone I'm done. Ain't smoked since.
