I can't seem to use your link, chippie. Yes, I hear horror stories all the time. They seem to be more and more frequent. Last week I was watching the news and a man had been arrested for microwaving his baby girl. I had a lot more than tears. I was screaming. (I'm not sure if this is the type of story you are posting.)

Hello again. I just read the story on Yahoo. It's terrible.

What a horrible story. The link works fine for me. Personally, I don't think there is necessarily MORE of this kind of thing happening; I think that due to the Internet, we all KNOW about more of these things. Before the Internet, we were all shown what the TV and newspapers DECIDED to show us; now we can see anything and everything. With stories like these, it is a double-edged sword.

Pac, I wasn't trying to be funny. I would neveer joke about something so gruesome. I think the Yahoo page might have been busy or perhaps Embarq DSL was having trouble, because sometimes it gets very slow. I turned off my modem for a few minutes. It works fine now. (and so does the link)

Apparently the youngest child survived.
