Don't know for a fact if they are "banned from everything" but was given a legitimate reason why I don't see them playing Online poker. Because of the sanctions banks don't allow deposits and withdrawals so the poker sites are freezing accounts. It's similar to when the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act went into effect.
