That was nice of him to cut the grass. He could have done it every week and made more money, than he could have by selling the stolen mower.

Marcus apparently believes it's always best to test drive the lawnmower before you steal it.
You don't want to steal a lawnmower that doesn't leave a lawn looking well-manicured when you're done.
Wouldn't be prudent.
