Larry The Cable Guy
Published:
Updated:
This is one of those meaningless blog entries. No political rants today.
However, Larry the Cable Guy made $19 million last year??? Gee, I know a woman who teaches special needs children and a social worker who works with mentally and physically disabled young adults and they both make less than $35,000 a year. God Bless America!
Oops! Well this started out to be just a post about nothing. So if your child were to ask you "Mommy, what should I be when I grow up?" I guess the answer is pretty clear, huh?
Here's the list of the top 100 celebrities according to Forbes.

We need a maximum wage, not a minimum wage.
Sometimes the folks on this site amaze me.
So it's not enough to increase the tax burden of the one's who work for success, but now let's place a limit on what they are allowed to have?
Larry (real name is Daniel Lawrence Whitney) EARNED his $19 million from the movies and shows that people are willing to pay to see. I don’t see anyone making the same statement about the drug addicted sports players who make millions.
Even Bob Simon of 60 Minutes describes him as “a hard-working, supremely confident, happy-go-lucky funnymanâ€.
Daniel aka Larry is an American Dream come true story of how a kid who came from humble beginnings worked his way to the top.
I find it absolute astonishing that some of the same people who hope to hit millions in a game of chance turn around and condemn those who earn millions via hard work and real effort.
So I dare to ask you this Nancy, if your child wants to grow up to be a superstar comedian, what’s so bad about that?
