Even though several of Trump's closest aides and including the Attorney General told him he lost the election, he still told his supporters there was widespread election fraud and they sent him $250 million.

Rudy was paid $60,000 out of the "fraud fund" for his 9-minute speech before Trump sent his supporters to the Capital Building to "hang Mike Pense" on Jan 6. John Eastman got the same about for speaking 9 minutes too. And he spoke without invoking the 5th.
