This is California which is a Democrat Nutjob State and this is in the nuttiest Nutjob part of the Democrat Nutjob State, San Francisco, which is thoroughly infested with Nutjob Democrats. And that is why they have these incredibly stupid and useless mandates. And the underlying reason for this particular mandate isn't in stopping the spread of Covid, because it has already been proven that masks have no effect on that. The sole reason for this mandate is the exercise of CONTROL by the Democrats in charge. Democrats THRIVE on utter and complete CONTROL of other people. They quickly dropped the mandate after it attracted too much negative attention and caused them embarrassment but they will never stop their attempts to CONTROL people when possible.

I think the idea is to inflict as much trauma on children as they can, rinse repeat.

Just some context on the compulsory school law in California. It is only mandatory at age 6, and "school" can be any kind of school, including homeschool. This 4-year-old is mostly likely enrolled in what they call Transitional Kindergarten (TK) here. It's basically pre-school and not mandatory. Neither is Kindergarten for that matter. And homeschool is very lightly regulated here.

What's odd is that this incident took place in Mountain View, a very wealthy part of the Bay Area. Someone rich enough to live in within the bounds of a public school district in Mountain View could easily afford a private preschool with no mask mandate or a nanny. Most rich people wouldn't enroll a 4-year-old with sensory issues in public a TK. Makes me think the child has more severe issues than the article says, and the parents are getting lots of special ed services thru the public school system that they can't get in a private setting. And if that's the case, the school's reaction was way out of line.

You mean control over what a woman can do to her body?

I believe a woman should be able to do anything she wants with her body.
I'm against when she has another person's body butchered alive though.
Just one of my little quirks I guess.

Joker, nobody is controlling what a woman can do with her body.
