That policy is not going to last very long.  Parents are put in jail for child abuse if they did that.

I used to get my ass beat on a regular basis by the teachers all through school.
And if I'da told my old man about it, he'da beat my ass again for being bad in school.
But teachers were more like normal people back then, now they're all doofus-looking geek Democrat weirdos and I wouldn't let any one of them creepy sonsobitches lay so much as a finger on any of my kids.

Seems like we began having a lot more disciplinary problems with kids in general, as soon as the means to discipline them were taken away from the parents. Kids just don't fear a "time-out" quite as much as knowing a butt whupping is waiting for them at home if they misbehave badly.
But if they're taught properly at home, there won't be problems at school anyway.
