The last time I looked the Jan 6 panel are United States House Representatives. Apparently the former VP weirdo doesn't understand the House and any panel they create represent citizens of the Untied States. 

Wonder if he checked with "Mother" before making that dumb decision?

Read there are at least three real reasons Pense won't testify, he wrote his version of "tell all book", the Republicans will disband the panel, and he don't want to hear Trump calling him childish names.
